The Practice has a Self-Care Assessment room located near the entrance of the building.
This room has a Blood Pressure self-monitor whereby patients can take their own blood pressure reading and receive the result on a slip of paper.
Your BP result can then be passed to reception and a GP will assess this to ensure it is within the correct range.
The Self-Care Assessment room also has promotional information such as leaflets and posters, please feel free to look this useful information and take any relevant leaflets that are of interest.
We have Self-Care leaflets also located around the practice., these leaflets highlight what you can do if you have a minor illness and how you can approach your local pharmacy.
There is also some useful information on what to do if you think you have Conjunctivitis, Sprains, Flu, Chickenpox, Diarrhoea and Vomiting, Burns and Scalds, Insect Bites and Temperatures.
