Ordering Your Prescription
There are a variety of ways to order your prescriptions at the practice:
- By dropping off your prescription slip (which was attached to your prescription) in the box at reception.
- By posting your prescription request and enclosing a stamped addressed envelope for return.
Online repeat prescription ordering
To order your prescriptions online you will first need to register for online services by coming to our reception desk with proof of your identity.
You will then be given a username and password enabling you to sign in to the secure online booking system:

Please allow 48 hours for all repeat prescriptions to be prepared.
If you wish to have your prescription sent to a pharmacy then please highlight this to the receptionist.

About pharmacists - Pharmacy First

The new Pharmacy First service, launched 31 January 2024, adds to the existing consultation service and enables community pharmacies to complete episodes of care for 7 common conditions following defined clinical pathways
Clinical pathway Age range
- Acute otitis media* 1 to 17 years
- Impetigo 1 year and over
- Infected insect bites 1 year and over
- Shingles 18 years and over
- Sinusitis 12 years and over
- Sore throat 5 years and over
- Uncomplicated urinary tract infections Women 16-64 years
They can also advise on medicine that you can buy without a prescription.
Many pharmacies are open until late and at weekends. You do not need an appointment.
Most pharmacies have a private room where you can discuss issues with pharmacy staff.
